Hi there! I am Cassie Spielman, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I am a UCF and Troy University graduate with 5 years of outpatient counseling experience. I have 12 years of working in an acute care/crisis stabilization setting, and one year in addictions. I love working with individuals in healing old wounds, managing mood, building self-esteem, and identifying goals to help write a roadmap to success!
I love working with individuals to navigate their journey to healing. Struggles with mental health can impact functioning on every level, including relationships (romantic and otherwise), work, school, and overall peace. My goal is to help my clients make connections with previous experiences/trauma and current patterns, identify triggers, create a vision of what they want their life to look like, and build the confidence in themselves to get there.
In our first session together, we’ll start with a brief introduction, and then we’ll dive into some specific challenges that you are facing. By doing this, we can create a tailored plan to work through in the following sessions.
I have had the privilege of working with individuals with a broad range of diagnoses, those in crisis, with trauma, and everything in between. Working with individuals from all walks of life has allowed me to see so many stages of healing and progress, and in turn allows me to meet people where they are, provide individualized care, and promote mental health.
