Dr. Ganpat is a true visionary. He initially started a career in computer engineering, but always had a keen interest in medicine and envisioned a role where he could truly impact lives. He pursued these goals and headed down a path that awarded him with great success in becoming a dually boarded physician of Family Medicine and Psychiatry. He’s expanded on this with additional training and is currently practicing as an Interventional Psychiatrist. Lastly, he is certified in Addiction Medicine. Applying his extensive knowledge, he offers thorough care for his patients and really loves helping people. He has been serving as one of the three core psychiatrists for AdventHealth, and well known to be a compassionate, thoughtful, and committed team player. Additionally, he rose to embrace leadership roles such as medical director for Interventional Psychiatry, Co-chair for Adventist Health Systems Behavioral Healthcare reliability committee, and consultation-liaison for psychiatry within the division. Hoping to inspire others, he shares his talents educating medical students at Florida State University School of Medicine. His vision is to push the envelope of care to meet the needs of a modern society. OneMed is that vision. He is enthusiastic about bringing this model to Lake Nona, a community close to his heart.
"I always try to see the world through my patients eyes and use this as inspiration to help them live their best life."
