Elizabeth Everett, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
“Healing begins in spaces where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to change.”
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving individuals, couples, families, and adolescents in Florida and Indiana. I hold a Master of Arts degree from Christian Theological Seminary and bring more than a decade of experience working with people through some of life’s most vulnerable, overwhelming, and transformative seasons. My background includes work in private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and interdisciplinary care settings, which has shaped my ability to support a wide range of emotional, relational, and behavioral needs. My goal is to offer a therapeutic space that feels both welcoming and grounded—where you feel safe to be yourself, supported in your healing, and confident that you are receiving thoughtful, high-quality care.
My approach to therapy is open, honest, compassionate, and highly individualized. I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine—when you can sit across from someone who truly listens, cares deeply, and is willing to help you face hard things with both empathy and clarity. I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, relationship distress, family-of-origin wounds, attachment challenges, and major life transitions. I draw from evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT, IFS, Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Gottman Method, Family Systems, and ERP, always tailoring the work to fit your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
